The Farm at Del Mar Meadows

Jessica, born and raised in San Diego, has been riding for 15 years. Like many young girls, she developed a love for horses at a very early age. When she was growing up Jessica wasn’t able to own a horse but that didn’t stop her from figuring out a way to take lessons.
She began riding when she was 8 years old at a small local stable. She devoted many hours each week working around the barn caring for many of the boarders’ horses in order to pay for her lessons. Things pretty much took off from there and Jessica, riding borrowed horses, began to compete, and win, in county shows. Her hard work and talent paid off when one of her customers gave Jessica her first horse, Beauty, and she began competing on the A show circuit.

Early in her show jumping career, Jessica met and competed with Danielle Korsh. Danielle’s parents purchased the Farm at Del Mar Meadows as a facility for Danielle to train for her next goals, Grand Prix and the World Cup. They also admired the hard work and talent of Jessica and convinced her to work at the facility as the Head Trainer and Facility Manager so that she could bring her love of horses to others.

Many of the horses Jessica uses for training at Del Mar Meadows have come from the A show circuit. These are horses which might no longer be able to compete on the international Grand Prix circuit, but are among the safest, soundest, and best trained horses in California.

Jessica trains all ages from 5 on, and all experience levels from beginners through the high amateur ranks.
